Pastor Robert (Bob) Haynes
Pastor Haynes grew up as a poor country boy in the rural farming community of Chetek WI. He graduated Chetek High School in 1993 and went onto the US Army where he served from 1993-1996 as a 55B (Ammo specialist). Upon his return from military service he married his wife. Corinna Lynn. Parker Haynes on July 6, 1996 in Spooner WI. They currently have 5 boys (Jordan, Carter. Alexander. Darick. and Lathan).
Pastor Haynes was saved Feb 28, 1992, and Baptized March 3rd, 1993, while attending Faith Baptist Church in Chetek WI under the leadership of Ken Owens. He was baptized March 3. 1993. He surrendered to God's call on his life to preach in 2005 and served 9 years as the Asst/Youth Pastor at Bridgewater Baptist Church in Chippewa Falls WI. Pastor earned Bible, Doctrine, and Biblical Counseling degrees thru Bridgewater Baptist Institute, and was taught many things about the ministry from his Pastor, Bob Stevens. He also attended Immanuel Baptist Institute in Menomonie WI for Pastoral Theology. At Grace Baptist Church, we are 100% local church and see that the Biblical way is to teach and train our own people for the ministry.
On January 15, 2014 God called the Haynes family to West Texas and we helped a church near Snyder and a church in Abilene until June 1, 2014 when God opened the door for us to minister to Grace Baptist Church in Iowa Park TX.
Outside of preaching, the greatest thing about the ministry is the fellowship that the Lord has allowed us to have with some great people. We made life-time friendships with local Pastors, Missionaries, Evangelists, and members of this community. In addition to GBC. Pastor is a Chaplain for Hospice of Wichita Falls, as well as the Wichita Falls Fire Dept. a youth basketball coach. IP Optimist Club member, and Board member of the Iowa Park youth baseball league.
